DMD Weathering Steel
The new Arrival Garden at Moody Pavilons marks a pivotal phase in the Contemporary Austin’s master plan. As a precursor to a broader architectural vision, this space fuses architectural finesse with a streamlined pedestrian entry from West 35th Street, positioning itself as an integrated architectural and landscape experience.
Central to this composition is the interplay of vertical steel planes and steel and glass pavilions that coalesce into an inviting journey through outdoor terraces. The weathering steel provided by Dissimilar Metal Design lends an understated and timeless character to the Moody Pavilions. These steel panels have a subtle protective patina that imbues them with a rustic, natural palette.
