DMD Weathering Steel
Portland, OR
Tanner Point is a newly construction 220,000 SF project in Portland’s River District — a vibrant mixed use area with industrial roots.
The structure was built using a custom weathered steel facade fabricated by Dissimilar Metal Design designed to pay homage to the neigborhood’s industrial past, while existing respectfully with the current urban aesthetic. The specification of the patinated metal also contributed to achieve a LEED Silver designation due to it’s sustainability and light environmental footprint.
The living patina will gracefully evolve in harmony with the rapidly changing surrounding environment.
